A lot of people think we're trying to upsell or scam them when we mention replacing their vehicle's cabin air filter, but it's a legit item that requires replacement same as an engine filter.

This filter came out of a 2022 model and had never been changed before 🤣🤦‍♂️

Anytime you have your heat or AC turned on you are breathing in the air that is going through this filter

It's always nice when we get to chase a new issue and not the same repetitive problems.

Had a 2015 Ford F150 setting multiple throttle body related codes.

After pulling things apart I noticed oil in the connector which is usually a sign of an oil leak getting into the harness and working it's way into the harness connectors.

This one was different though, after looking closely I could see the oil was actually coming from inside the throttle actuator housing and seeping into the connector side.

Pulled the assembly apart to verify and you can see how full of oil the throttle body/motor assembly was.

Now to address the underlying issue of finding out where all of this oil is coming from and making it's way through the throttle body 😆🤯

Another day, another blown up VW 😆

This was a new client who wanted us to come out and put a fuel pump in it since that's what another mechanic diagnosed it as before he ghosted them.

I ran a few simple checks before moving forward with their request and immediately could hear something was not right when trying to crank the engine.

A little bit of digging and found that the timing chain was broken and turned the engine into an internal gr***de 💥

Some people don't like it, but this is why I always require diagnosing the issue before replacing parts, imagine how upset they would have been spending over $700 on a fuel pump just to find out after that their engine was toast

When the big fancy corporate shop tells you that you have a bad turbo but the real problem is just a ripped charge pipe 😆🤣🤦‍♂️

You best believe when they're getting you in the door on a cheap oil change special or 'free' diagnostics they're going to be getting that money back somewhere else
