I never remember the year make model or any of that of this car, it's a customer's, he's 20, he delivers my parts. He is probably going to lose his job if he loses his license but while he's still got it he had us throw in some long tube headers, electric cut outs and boom tubes. Hopefully next week when he's pulled over again for noise or speeding they'll see that he's put in the effort to at least have a quiet option on the exhaust and let him off with a warning.

There are 3 cars in this photo each one bought for under $1000. 2 of them have been gone through top to bottom. Hundreds of hours put into them to bring them to what they are today. A 4600 car for king of the hammers, and a beautiful viper with more done then what I'm allowed to talk about. But only 1 stays true to it's roots of remaining worth no more than $1000.

Wasn't around our shop on Tuesday, sorry if you missed us. Had to run over to Siker fabrication and see our friend Randy, he's building another awesome Hot rod.
1939 t- bucket with a period correct stroked, blown flat head. Engine sat for 10 years before getting set in this hand made chassis, unfortunately in that time of sitting the coolant got through the head gasket into cylinder 8. We went over pulled the heads removed the piston honed the block got some fresh rings and put it all back together. Pumped some fuel into the carbs and listened to it sing.

Just got back into town, working on catching up after a long weekend visiting friends and family, but just because we were on vacation in another state doesn't mean we weren't working. Spent a couple days at a friend's house helping him mount an 88mm turbo on his 12v, did a little tig welding for the hood stack and the waste gate.

Winters here, highs and lows to that, unfortunately it brings an end for a very fun season of wheeling with friends and customers. Fortunately we now have the next 3 months to get all those "I'll fix it next week" problems dealt with, that being said we've got some up coming 1 ton swaps, a 4.0l turbo kit to develop, some body panels to straighten out, and a bit of free time for overall inspections of all the nuts and bolts that allow us to do what we do.

Every Friday we like to take an hour to sit down step away from the phones and work and take time to reflect on the week. We sit down in a quiet restaurant at the end of the road and discuss what we got done and what we have yet to get done. We do this because running a business has been some of the most stressful things we've dealt with in life. We reflect back on it all the hardship, the endless phone calls, the early mornings and late nights. After our hour is up we walk back to the shop and repeat the same thing we repeat to each other every night we lock the door. What a privledge it is to have the problems we've got.
Thank you to all of our customers for trusting us to serve you, it's a privledge.

Another ls out the door. 5.3l with a truck cam bolted up to a 4l60e. Set in a 1967 coupe Deville, we built the engine and handed everything off to our local fab shop Syker fabrication where Randy Simmons dropped it in the car. Custom exhaust, cross membership, skid plates everything you can't buy off a shelf. Then it came back to us for the final tuning.
