All clean and ready for reassembly!!

First up is one of our steering box frame reinforcement kits, getting everything ready for the RedHead 105 steering box.

Then we'll tackle a few spots of rust that need some attention.

Once that's done, the chassis will be ready for paint!

The dirty work is behind us, and now the fun part begins. Time to start putting this Cruiser back together!

It's raining grease!!!!!!

We're cleaning the WoolWax anti-rust treatment off the underside of this rig. What a mess! This stuff is basically oil, now mixed with dirt and grease, and it's EVERYWHERE!

Just another one of those dirty jobs that comes with the restoration process. Nobody said bringing these old Land Cruisers back to their former glory was going to be clean!

This one has great bones!!

We've found lots of mechanical problems, most of them self-inflicted by the previous owner, who should never be allowed to work on a car ever again!

More on that to come in our **STOP IT** section!

Anyhoo, we're almost done with the dirty part of the job and getting ready to start reassembly. This is where the fun really begins!

**Mongo Disassemble Land Cruiser — Day 2!!**

Day 2 is here, and disassembly is in full swing!

We're not used to having donors this good! This is going to be an awesome Stage 2 restoration.

This one will feature a few new products we're planning to release next year, along with a 3.5-inch Dobinsons MRR lift, 37-inch Maxxis RZR tires on ICON wheels, , and so much more!

Remember, Mini P is a shop rig, and she's for sale anytime during the restoration process or after it's finished. If you've ever wanted an incredible 80 Series built your way, now's your chance! You could shave at least 1 yr off owning a restored 80 series . Be wheeling this beauty in the spring !!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go again!!

Meet Mini P!

This time, we have a much better donor. This '97 Collector's Edition was in really good shape, other than what the person who sold it on Bring a Trailer did to it.

I've been working on Land Cruisers for over two decades, and I have never seen such shoddy work or so many things that just don't make any sense.

That's all about to be fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This beautiful Cruiser will be for sale once we're finished. Or, if you're interested in a perfect 80 Series, give us a call and we can build it out exactly the way you want

Our new shop rig!

We built this for a customer last year. Life came up, and he put it up for sale. This is the nicest 80 we have ever built—or seen, for that matter.

We’re starting with a few minor changes to make it work better for how we wheel. First was getting the center of gravity down. With all the extra weight on the roof rack, it was very top-heavy.

We dropped the springs from a Dobinsons 4-inch HD setup (more like 5.5 inches) to a Dobinsons 3.5-inch long-travel spring.

What a difference in ride quality and handling! This rig may or may not be for sale after Cruise Moab Event

The 1980s called…

They want their quad shocks back!

Well-loved FJ40s hold a special place in my heart. We started getting this one back to its mechanical glory.

It came in with quad shocks on the front and very, very bad brakes. We did an FJ60 front disc brake conversion and got rid of the ’80s quad-shock setup, which was done very poorly. I was hard but we manged to get through this job with minimal restoration

This customer will now be able to stop this V8-swapped beast!

ABS delete and then some!!

We had a beautiful 4.7-swapped 80 Series in with multiple issues.

First was an ABS and LSVP delete. We didn’t do all the lines on the axles, but we reworked the lines in the engine bay. We also did full brakes frt and rear . hoses and calipers with drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads.

After looking things over, we saw how hokey the fuel lines were from the swap, so we did them the right way. We got the fuel filter off the firewall, where the people who did the swap had installed it, then ran a hard line down the outside of the frame. We relocated the fuel filter to the frame to get it out of the heat.

We also cleaned up another company’s catch can system to bring it up to the quality of the rest of the build.
