🎉 ANOTHER MILESTONE SURPASSED! 🎉

Mushroom House Automotive has now helped generate OVER $600,000 in donations to local charities through our vehicle donation program!

That’s more than $600,000 going toward making a difference in our local communities. ❤️

A HUGE thank-you to all the generous donors who have entrusted us with their vehicles and helped make this possible. Your generosity is what makes this program so special!

🚗 The good news? We're not done yet!

We currently have more quality donated vehicles on the lot and ready for their next owners. When you purchase a vehicle from MHA, you're not just getting a great vehicle — you're also supporting a program that gives back to our local communities.

🐴 Wondering why there's a donkey holding our $600,000 check? 🤔

Stop by the shop and ask Steve! He'll be happy to explain. 😂

Maintaining proper tire pressure is important for several reasons:

Safety
Properly inflated tires can help prevent accidents by providing better handling, steering, and braking control. Overinflated or underinflated tires can reduce traction and increase the risk of hydroplaning, skidding, and blowouts.

Improved Fuel Efficiency
Proper tire pressure can help your vehicle operate more efficiently, improving fuel economy and reducing carbon emissions. Underinflated tires can cause your engine to work harder, using more fuel to maintain speed.

Longer Tire Life
Properly inflated tires wear evenly, which can prolong their lifespan and save you money on tire replacements.

Better Performance
Properly inflated tires provide better vehicle performance, including better acceleration, handling, and braking. They also provide a smoother and more comfortable ride.

To maintain proper tire pressure, check your vehicle's owner's manual for the recommended tire pressure and check your tire pressure at least once a month with a tire pressure gauge. Keep in mind that tire pressure can fluctuate with temperature changes, so it's especially important to check your tire pressure during extreme weather conditions.

Changing the oil in your vehicle is important for several reasons:

Lubrication 🛢️
The engine oil lubricates the moving parts of the engine and prevents them from grinding against each other, reducing wear and tear and extending the life of the engine.

Cooling ❄️
The engine oil also helps to cool the engine by carrying heat away from the combustion chamber and dissipating it through the oil pan.

Cleaning 🚘
The engine oil helps to clean the engine by picking up dirt, debris, and contaminants and trapping them in the oil filter, preventing them from damaging the engine.

Over time, the engine oil can become contaminated with dirt, debris, and other contaminants, which can reduce its effectiveness in lubricating, cooling, and cleaning the engine. Old oil can also become sludgy and thick, which can lead to engine damage and decreased performance.

Regular oil changes help to ensure that the engine oil remains clean, effective, and able to perform its functions properly. It's recommended to change your engine oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles for most vehicles, or every six months to a year, whichever comes first. Neglecting oil changes can lead to engine damage, decreased performance, and increased repair costs in the long run.

Call Mushroom House Automotive today and schedule your appointment (410) 658-6928 🍄🏡🚘
