Replaced Jim’s mirrors with some nice and tight mirrors that won’t move when he shuts his door

We also upgraded the starter to a Power Master high torque starter. The old started was just a factory style gear reduction starter.

Fixed an inoperative Gear vender overdrive

Fixed a tight and rattling gear selector

TOOK HOME THE WIN!!!

Made a few adjustments to the chassis over the week and that was good enough to gain 7 feet over taking our pulling competitors and take home 1st place in Comp EFI and a very close 2nd place in street open.

Comp efi 302.17 roughly 3 feet over second

Street open 345.12, first place had 345.59!
Inches away from a 1st place sweep!

We have a 3 week break before then next pull and only 2 weeks before our 1st ever car show!!!

This video was from my comp efi pass. The eliminator was running us a little short compared to passed years pulling at equity park.

We will work on a few more thing with the pulling truck to hopefully secure our lead when we hit the track in Oconto!!

Cruising down the highway at 2200 RPM at 80 miles an hour. So nice having overdrive! 

There’s a lot more room to grow as far as horsepower goes. We chose the aluminum intake for hood clearance and looks knowing we lost about 30 horse with that intake, if we had an LS3 intake or even a truck intake that would put us right around 470 to 480 exactly where I would expect this set up to be through an automatic transmission . Needless to say this car is an absolute blast and the owner is ecstatic. I still think he’s been driving it since he picked it up at 10 o’clock this morning! 😂
