We have always said make sure you do your diligence. I found a Muncie 4-speed near by for 500.00 the ad stated good shape ready to install. Well I got it to the shop. Pull side cover and have rounded teeth on 2nd gear. Then found tail housing messed up from someone trying to get a broken bolt out. Flipped it over to take tail housing off and find this lol. I do have all parts Needed, I’m guilty of trusting the seller to much and should have checked it out first. Just wanted to share my silliness. When we screw up we need to own it.

I am retiring from Larry’s Transmissions. In Cole camp mo. After 51 years of building My son is now the owner and it’s Larry’s Transmissions llc. Chris has a lot of experience on all makes and models. He is a third generation builder. I will still do a few carry ins for old customers of mine. But all new buisness contact Chris. Ty

So this came through the shop. The billet input shaft was destroyed, the truck has excessive crank end play and is worn out. We sent him to another shop. I see no good coming out of building something the customer will not respect.

Once in awhile I get the opportunity to work on my project vehicles. Anyone that knows me understands my ADHD. 😂. So today I built a badass 700r4 for my 34 Chevy pickup going to be nice to cruise in overdrive
