After 7 years of steady business we are taking a break from towing as Dustin prepares to deploy for a year with the Army National Guard. We thank you all for your patronage and will look forward to hearing from you when he gets home in 2024 and we reopen our doors.

So today was a first for me. Thursday morning I was heading through Jericho to do a winchout in underhill when I came across a car vs a light pole with the airbags deployed and they still had air in them they were just getting out of the car. I got turned around and parked my truck to protect them. I checked with them to make sure everyone was alright which they were. I got them loaded up and in the truck and got off the busy route 15 and waited for the young womens dad to get there to pick her and her friend up. Today I was at the shop and the mother came in with this pie In her hands and asked for me by name and could not thank me enough for taking such good care of her daughter and making sure they were safe after the accident. We always meet everyone on one of there worst days and we are not always everyone's favorite person but this mother taking the time to bake me a pie to thank me really makes me love what I do and this is why I do it. Thank you Ma'am

Over the weekend Bates Towing was called and asked if we serviced vehicles out on the lake. The owner needed an unlock on their truck the catch was they were about a mile out from shore normally we can walk to them not this time we do have a snowmobile just for this instance. We do offer light service ( Unlocks, Jumpstarts, Flat tires, Fuel Deliveries) out on the lake as long as the ice is safe to be out on. Call if you are in need of assistance (802)782-3737

Thank you to Colchester police and Essex police for your kind words in regard to the storm on Wednesday night. It is always a pleasure to work with you fine folks! We are thankful we were able to help as many people as we did! It was really remarkable to see everyone come together as a community to look out for one another. Everyone should be proud of the part they played in helping community members. Every contribution counts, no matter how big or small.
