Today, Jerry's grandson, Matthew had his BOCES Career & Technical Education (CTE) Signing Day.
We have hired Matthew as a full time technician and he will be starting in July.

He shadowed his grandfather here at J & D the last two summers. He has been with Boces for 2 years in their Automotive Service & Small Engine trade school. Jerry has had him working along side him, teaching him and prepping him for his career. We have had him working with the classic cars and newer model cars. Matthew is very smart and has a talent like his grandfather, and we are excited to have him join our team.

Come join us July 5th! This is our second annual car show in Waterford NY, on Sugar Loaf Pond.

This year we are honoring our local veterans and helping with the flags with local vets photos on them that will be hung in Waterford.

We have been helping with the planning of the show, along with the "Waterford Car Club" guys. J & D Automotive will be sponsoring the show along with other local businesses to make it a success. It takes a village.

We have several of our vendors who will be sponsoring the show, and giving donations for our door prizes. Last year we had over 100 give aways.

Last year we had Fisher Auto Parts and Emerson Oil (Previously R.H. Crowne) who helped us with donating items. I belive they will he helping out again this year.

This year we have Bigger Prints in Cohoes join in, and RadioRadioX & Xperience Monthly who I belive are sponsoring as well. Bigger Prints will be donating the STAFF shirts and plan on doing more.

We thank everyone for their participation in making this show one of the best shows in the Capital region!

We couldn't do it without everyone's help and thank everyone for your time and help in making this a huge success.

Mark your calendars for July 5, 2026.

There will be music and food as well.
