🚨 10 pounds lighter, 12% more horsepower, the 2027 Honda CRF450R and HRC Works Edition have been unveiled. 🤯

1. Of that nearly 10 pound loss, over 6 pounds is from the completely redesigned engine. 🏋🏼

2. Over 70% of the main frame is new, along with a completely new swingers and subframe. This latest gen CRF450R has been massaged for more stability and overall calmer nature. 💆🏼‍♂️

3. A completely new airbox draws from the rear of the bike and has an even steeper more direct drop into the engine, the closest any OEM has come to mimicking what Yamaha accomplished wit their front mounted downdraft system. The new airbox, alongside the new engine has brought about over a 5 horsepower increase while also dropping sound limits to meet the new pro 109 limit. 💨

4. The new tri-color design is polarizing but a move to better inject Honda’s HRC branding across their off-road and road performance product lineup. It’s also an attempt for Honda to standout on track in an ever increasing field of “red” motorcycles.

5. Factory transmission and slipper clutch for the public? The new CRF’s transmission has improved gear ratios, including a long first gear that mimics HRC’s factory transmission. They’ve also introduced a form of slipper clutch technology only seen on their road models.
