As you guys may already know, my name is Daniel and I am the proud owner of A Better Way Motorsports, a small, veteran-owned business that specializes in building and restoring race cars, with a focus on Ford vehicles. As a United States Navy veteran, starting this business was a dream come true—a way for me to channel my passion for cars while giving back to the community.

Unfortunately, life has taken an unexpected turn. I have recently been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare and debilitating neurological disorder that affects the nervous system, causing muscle weakness and, in severe cases, paralysis. This diagnosis has forced me to put my business on hold while I focus on recovery.

The road ahead is uncertain, but one thing is clear: I need your help. Being a small business owner, I don't have the resources to keep the doors open while I'm unable to work. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover ongoing business expenses, medical bills, and provide much-needed support for my family during this difficult time.

Just like a high-performance engine needs cool-down laps, our souls need rest to keep running at peak performance. Watching the sunrise reminds me of the peace that comes from slowing down and recharging. As the Bible says in Matthew 11:28, ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ Even in the fast-paced world of motorsports, taking time to pause and refuel spiritually is key to staying on track.

I want to start out by saying THANK YOU to everyone that has prayed for me and my family, THANK YOU to everyone that reached out to us and THANK YOU to everyone that continues to help us out during this time!

1️⃣ I am finally out of the hospital and started physical therapy!

2️⃣ I have a long road ahead but that’s okay because I have peace and hope in the LORD.

3️⃣ It has been an up and down kind of road, (and is apparently going to stay that way for a while lol).

4️⃣ I will most likely make a full recovery but it will take some time.

5️⃣ Yes, I will start posting about the racing and cars again instead of these stupid hospital pics haha
