Everyone keeps asking whats the plan for 2027 with the mud so here it is. The Mudd hole will be back for the Shriners Race April 2027. It will return to its original place when we first built the facility in between the two fast tracks. The classes and rules will be posted soon. If you have a Mudd Truck and want us to keep running the mud hole come out and support this event. It's for the Shriners and all for a good cause. So to everyone that has a old mud truck get it ready. If we get enough participation in the event we will do more! Dont forget our truck or treat and race October 31st!

I want to get some people thoughts on 2027. If we decide to put a mud hole back at Southern Thunder Mud Track how many people would be interested racing in it. From the start we never wanted to get rid of it. With low entry count and state forced our hand to shut it down but now I think we can bring it back. No promises at all of this I just want some feed back on it. Alot of people said they would run the pit and at end of day never showed up. The ones that did I remember an thank you. We will not do this unless we have a clear path forward where its profitable and that does not mess with what we have going on flat tracks.
