The Stephenson House Hotel, later known as the Grand Hotel. Built in 1872, it was located at 221 East Lincoln Highway. It was destroyed by fire in 1947. Card is restored, color is original.
This settlement was a post for fur trading with the earliest American settlers. The Brandywine River has featured prominently in the history of Coatesville.
