๐๐๐If you happen to live on planet Earth, youโve heard of the Indianapolis 500โฆ It is, after all, The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.This Memorial Day weekend race is rich in its traditions for us in Indiana! Every year, thousands of fans gather to the Motor Speedway to see the fastest cars and drivers in the world compete. The energy on race day is like no other experienceโฆthe sun blaring down on you, 350,000 energetic fans cheering on their favorite driver, the rumble in your seat as the cars race through, the almost hypnotic sound of the cars as they pass by, pair that with the smell of beer and burning rubber and youโve got yourself the Indy 500!
In honor of our May traditions here in Indiana, Scorpionโs weekly Wednesday contest tomorrow will be all about the Indy 500! So... start picking your favorite driver now and get ready for the contest tomorrow!

Three men have won the race four times: A.J. Foyt Jr., in 1961, 1964, 1967 and 1977; Al Unser Sr. in 1970, 1971, 1978 and 1987 and Rick Mears in 1979, 1984, 1988 and 1991.
The youngest winner was Troy Ruttman. He was 22 years when he won in 1952.
The oldest winner was Al Unser Sr. He was 47 years when he won in 1987.
