Camping available at Silver Sage Guest Ranch Campground for all you Dog trials.

Each October, the native prairie at Wasson Family Farm in Battle Lake comes alive with the energy of hunting dogs, handlers and spectators from near and far. What began as a family conservation project has grown into a unique fall tradition in Otter Tail County.

🌾 Curious how a restored stretch of prairie became the perfect setting for this annual tradition? Read our latest blog, “From Prairie to Dog Trials: A Fall Tradition at Wasson Family Farm,” and discover the story behind this one-of-a-kind Otter Tail County experience.

Maybe the best part of finding a place to call home is finding the people who make it feel like home. In Lakes Country, there’s a little something for everyone and plenty of ways to find your people.

The ones who’ll meet you on the lake.
The ones who want to hit the trails after work.
The ones who never miss live music.
The ones who meet up for coffee, golf, dinner or a weekend adventure.
The ones who show up for community events and cheer on their hometown.

Find your people. Find your place. Find your Lakes Country. 🌲💧
