Irvine Motor Company in Clinton, IA. is currently looking for a Full Time (or possibly a Part Time) Auto Mechanic. You must possess a valid driver's license for this position. The perfect candidate would have their own tools, but is not required. Duties would include, but not limited to:
​
Basic vehicle maintenance (changing fluids/brakes/e.t.c.)​
Inspection of vehicles visually/road test and report all faults/imperfections ​
Diagnose vehicle faults by scanner​
Replace or fix any parts on a vehicle as needed in a timely manner​
Attend auto auctions as needed ​
Knowledge of timing chain replacement on GM 3.6L engines and Ford 3.5L engines is a plus!​

Pay is based on experience and skill level. We are looking for the right person who can work independently with little or no supervision. We are open to all candidates, so please inquire. Also, we have a climate controlled shop. ​
