Yes a group 27 battery will fit in the 4runner and it has 10% more capacity than the standard group 24 battery.
All I had to do was trim the ends off the plastic battery tray.

Oil change today.. I have an extended warranty and I figured it would best if I document my oil changes with a date stamp on Facebook. This is the second oil change I have done since buying the truck a year ago. Even though Toyota recommendeds 10k I do it every 5,000 miles.

I liked the red, but not the polished aluminum, so I used Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black to get rid of the silver aluminum color and dull the gloss on the red a little.
