Thanksgiving is a time to remind you of the things that are important in life…years go on and we get caught in the shuffle of keeping daily schedules, planning for kids lives over making our own plans, caring for loved ones as life and health situations arise…At Thanksgiving we slow down to remember all that has been provided for us.

We are grateful for the time we get with loved ones and the things we can accomplish - reminding ourselves that nothing is promised and to remember to be thankful for what we have that others may not be graced with.

One thing we know year after year, is running a small business is a great way to be a part of this community. We are able to establish connection, keep up to date on all that is happening (good and bad), know what is going on with you and yours. This is something our family enjoys in this business. We like to know the people we sell to, hope to do so in a way we can help both ourselves AND the customer.

It’s not just a receipt, but a promissory note that we are here for you. We want to know what keeps you going, what you work for, what you’re thankful for at this time of year. We try to help out where we can to achieve that in affordable ways knowing the impact is greater than a bottomline and customers are so much more than numbers.

So, thank you. We are reminded year in and year out how much we are grateful for each of you. Grateful for your business, yes, but grateful for the moments you share with us, the friendship found in sharing the moments of your family to ours. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your lives, and thank you for choosing us over corporate options. Though it may not be more than a parts store to you, we enjoy the time we get to spend with our community members outside of the customer service aspect.

Happy Veterans Day! We are grateful to all our Veterans for your sacrifice, courage, and dedication to our country and upholding its highest values.

Guy Auto Parts has employed a number of veterans over the years and we remember each on this day. We thank each of you for bringing that energy and ethic to our store and customers. If you’re at the store today, give a little thanks to some of our current Vets on the Counter - Mike and J.C.

This year, I’d like to take a moment to specially recognize the sacrifice, resolve, and character of one of our long serving Vets - Michael. He is a colorful part of the experience here at Guy Auto Parts - most can recall their first interactions with Mike and they certainly know when he’s in the building. His goal is to leave you with a smile, laugh, perhaps a (good) joke you can tell your friends but probably not your kids.

Mike has been with our company for many years, but his service jacket is a remarkable one. Stop by and ask him about his years in the Navy. There are a number of stories that he may tell, but all reflect the values he embodies while providing the twist of humor only Mike could pull off.

A thank you to all the Veterans that served. A special thank you to all those that have continued those years of service thru our doors for our customers and community. Anytime you shop with us, remember to let us know you served, share a favorite memory with us if you wouldn’t mind. In return, we will price your bill accordingly as a thank you to what you helped this country preserve.
