**CURRENT CLASSES & RULES: (classes are subject to change, 3 or more makes a class)***
Novice - new racers (under a year experience or age 10 and under) Open to any 1/10 vehicle, Open to any foam or rubber tire, 2s MAX 8.44v max charge. (although this is a class for new racers actions for rough driving WILL NOT be enforced). GT- Open to any 2wd or 4wd 1/10 vehicle, open rubber or foam
tire, 2s MAX 8.44v max charge, NO 1/8 wedge style late model bodies. (This class tends to be faster, for more experienced racers, rough driving will NOT be tolerated)
Tamiya Semi Truck - Box Stock Tamiya Semi kit, Bearing kit is allowed, battery: blue or red Zippy 4000 hard case 20c 2s 8.44v max charge, wheels/Tires must be used as kit specifies (no using foam inserts), may glue sidewalls to prevent traction rolling, can run front wheels on rear for durability, gearing is to remain as what is included in the kit, Any of the Tamiya bodies or IRON Bitty Designs semi truck bodies, ESC must be the Tamiya Kit ESC or Hobbywing 1060 brushed esc. Tamiya Sport Truck (Semi kit based) - Box Stock Tamiya Semi kit, Bearing kit is allowed, battery: blue or red Zippy 4000 hard case 20c 2s 8.44v max charge, wheels/Tires must be used as kit specifies (no using foam inserts), may glue sidewalls to prevent traction rolling, can run front wheels on rear for durability,gearing is OPEN, aluminum drive shaft allowed. Any pickup truck style body (Protoform ORT, Carpy’s Next Gen or similar (wheels must be INSIDE the body)), ESC must be the Tamiya Kit ESC or Hobbywing 1060 brushed esc. Slash Street Stock -
CHASSIS:
Traxxas Slash 2WD High Center of Gravity (HCG) or SLASH Low Center of Gravity (LCG) ONLY! Modifying, replacing, or removing any components is NOT permitted. Side nerf bars and rear bumper are optional. If nerf bars are used they must be the stock 2wd slash nerf bars or RPM nerf bars. If rear bumper is used it must be the stock 2wd slash rear bumper or RPM bumper for 2wd slash
Any additional weight must be added within the main top tub of the chassis plate area. Adding weight to nerf bars, bumpers, headers, suspension arms, or any component not within the main chassis area is NOT permitted. The ESC, receiver & transponder must be mounted within the main chassis plate area. Sway Bars are NOT permitted. SHOCKS:
Stock Traxxas Slash Ultra Shocks ONLY! (Grey or Black)
Traxxas Big Bore Shocks are NOT permitted. Rear shocks on rear. Shock shafts must be front in front, rear in rear. 1,2 or 3 hole stock Traxxas pistons are allowed. Aluminum shock caps are permitted. Any weight shock oil is permitted. Internal shaft travel limiters are permitted. External travel limiters i.e. "Bump stops" are NOT allowed on any corner of the car.
2-stage pistons or any modification to the shock piston to tune the compression and rebound separately are NOT permitted. No aluminum shock towers allowed. SPRINGS:
Any Traxxas Slash tuning spring is permitted. Cutting or altering of the spring is NOT permitted. CONTROL ARMS AND HEXES:
Must use stock 2wd slash front and rear control arms only! Front arms #3631 any color Rear arms #2555 any color
RPM arms are allowed Front #8024 any color Rear #8059 any color
Control arms MUST be mounted on the car in the correct position AND orientation that they were deigned to be put on the car. LR on LR, RR on RR, LF on LF, RF on RF
NO flipping of arms, NO left arms on right, NO front arms on rear etc! NO 4x4 slash arms, NO rustler, stampede, or any other arms that are not the part numbers for a stock 2wd slash. Rear tires must both have TOE IN! NO modifications can be done to change the natural toe built into the rear of the car to gain an advantage using rear steer or less toe. NO aluminum control arms allowed. Factory plastic grey and black 12mm wheel hexes only! Any combination of hex location is allowed. TIRES:
Open Rubber tire as long as it is mounted on a 2.8" Stadium Truck Wheel OR mounted on a 2.2"x3.0" Short Course Wheel. Any Offset is allowed. The tire must be made for the style of wheel it is mounted on as well. (NO 2.2" tires on 2.8" wheels, etc)
NO 2.2",2.4", 60mm etc buggy wheels and tires permitted. NO 17mm hex 1/8th scale wheels or tires allowed. Altering the inside of the tire in any way is NOT permitted. Gluing or taping the outside of the tire to help prevent traction rolling is permitted. SERVO:
OPEN.1/10 Scale. Aluminum servo arms are permitted. MOTOR:
Traxxas TITAN 12T 550 brushed motor ONLY! Tuning, tweaking, or modifying the motor is NOT permitted. Zapping magnets is NOT permitted. ESC:
Traxxas Stock XL-5 ESC or HobbyWing 1060 Brushed ESC
The stock bullet connectors from the ESC to the motor must be used. Soldering the bullet connectors to the motor is NOT permitted. BATTERY: Max Charge of 8.44v! LIPO or LIHV - CELL: 2s only/ MAH: 8200 Max 8.44v max charge rate. Can be checked at any time! NIMH – 7 cell max! Any brand permitted. Battery must be mounted in the stock center tray location, but may be moved forward or back as long as it stays within the stock boundaries of the battery tray. Any plug style may be used for the battery to ESC connection. Direct soldering to the battery is NOT permitted. SPUR GEAR:
Traxxas Slash 48P Spur Gears must be used. No modification of any kind can be done to the gear. Size choices: 76T, 83T, 86T or 90T. PINION GEAR:
OPEN. May be plastic, aluminum or steel
FANS:
Motor and/or ESC fans are NOT permitted. TRANSMISSION:
Stock Traxxas 2WD Slash transmissions ONLY! The 272R transmission is NOT allowed! Locking or modifying the differential in any way is NOT permitted. The differential must have normal action when rotating one rear tire against the normal compression of the motor. Direct replacement Traxxas 2wd slash transmission parts are permitted. All transmission gears must be STEEL! No modifications are allowed. The 272R Steel Top Shaft part number TRA9494 is ALLOWED as a durability upgrade over the stock top shaft with the roll pin. The 272R top shaft is .4 grams HEAVIER than the stock top shaft and is no performance advantage over the stock shaft. These are the only two options for top shafts and the only part that is allowed to be ran that is from the 272R transmission. DO NOT TRY TO PUSH THIS RULE! Ball differentials are NOT permitted. BODY:

Open to purchased or homemade figure 8 style body except ***MT8 BODIES ARE NOT PERMITTED***, MUST be OPEN wheel in the front/ Covered in the rear. May have rear wing or sideboard type spoilers in rear quarter panel area that resemble a real life pro figure 8 car. Slash Truck bodies are allowed as long as the front fenders are cut off. FRONT BUMPER:
NO excessive front bumpers, no metal permitted.
