Yes, you read correctly! In Florida you need to take a boater education course and get your boaters license if you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, and will be operating a motorized boat of 10HP or more.

The good thing is float boating has you covered! If you fall under this category, we send you the direct link on where to get your boating license and you can legally be on your way! The process only takes 35 minutes to an hour so you can do it on the same day as your rental.
