Horns installed, but don't work so the steering wheel has an issue.

Washer fluid installed and works, but I can't get one line on the drivers stanchion as that should have been earlier in the build, ugh.

Tried to finish DC-DC convertor and blew the main battery fuse, that sucked.

Radiator tightened, moving forward to finish coolant lines.

More HV controller troubleshooting, took out the flash drive box which checked fine, checking more wiring.

No positives to report this work weekend.

AN wrench had to be slightly modified due to some poor design choices. Who the f*cked planned this? Oh, wait.....

Note to self, that future rattle, it would be the radiator mount nut that got dropped, never made it to the floor, and is now snuggled against the spash pans somewhere hands and magnets can't reach.

So the coolant system isn't finished, might as well try to remember when I was at with this wiring. Nice, that stipped wire end chilling in the engine bay not connected to anything just blew a 30 amp main fuse on the low voltage side. At least that was an easy fix, after the sparks flew.

Cleaned up the garage floor and work bench, which has been immediately recovered. Working on the cooling system for the '57 as this car has to get moving and out before the hemi motor is ready to come back. Tesla pump mounted, mostly got the right parts but plan was slightly off, more parts ordered to connect, run lines, and put rad back in an adjusted position, ugh.

Three swim meets across three states but still had time to fit in a quick project.

Off with the Chevy OEM soft bed cover and on with a RealTruck.com Retrax retractable metal bed cover.

Removal and install was pretty easy even while training version 3 of my crew, working in the dirt driveway, and having a rain stoppage because none of our projects can go smoothly.

The EV charging gas pump is now functional. Nowhere near complete, but all the parts are assembled and it is out of the garage for the winter so work can resume on the 57 so that can be out of the way when the hemi arrives for the cuda (probably in the spring).

I didn't expect to start Harper's first swim meet weekend off this way, but there I was in a parking lot replacing a bro...

I didn't expect to start Harper's first swim meet weekend off this way, but there I was in a parking lot replacing a broken Ford Performance axle. Nice view from the work area and some carpet and a pit mat for comfort.

Unsure what type of shenanigans are taking place at college to result in shearing off six grade 8 bolts at the CV joint, or maybe it was all the dragstrip practice/abuse, but we got it replaced and all is working again.

Post Fall Carlisle purge, posting some parts on FB marketplace and ebay, one truck load to metal recycling already. '57 in the air for cooling system plumbing and pump mounting, then a garage cleanout and reshuffle to bring in the Hemi car once the 57 is moving and the gas pump ev charger is assembled.
