EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: Westin Public Safety

The right vehicle equipment should do more than add capability. It should help officers work more efficiently, protect the vehicle, and make everyday tasks easier.

Today, we’re highlighting Westin Public Safety Division and a few of the products we use across Guardian builds.

Westin is well known for its heavy-duty push bumpers and PIT bars, designed to add front-end protection and support the demands of patrol work. Their lineup also includes truck-bed accessories, interior solutions, mounting systems, gun racks, consoles, lighting, and other vehicle-specific equipment designed around public-safety use.

For officers, that can mean better vehicle protection, more secure and usable storage, easier access to equipment, and a squad that is better prepared for the different jobs it may be asked to handle throughout a shift.

Different agencies. Different vehicles. Different requirements.

One goal: build the right vehicle for the people using it.

Stay tuned—we’ll be highlighting more of the equipment and manufacturers Guardian customers can choose from in upcoming posts.

Serving Blaine means serving a growing community, busy neighborhoods, local businesses, and the thousands of people who come to the city for work, sports, and events.

The officers of the Blaine Police Department do that work every day—responding to calls, engaging with residents, keeping roadways safe, and helping make their community a better place to live and visit. The department’s own mission emphasizes serving with integrity, respect, and professionalism while enhancing quality of life in Blaine.

This new Chevy Tahoe was built to support that work with Whelen CORE, lighting, sirens, and ION warning lights, a Westin push bumper, Gamber-Johnson laptop mount, Motorola radio, and Axon camera system.

Each piece plays a role in giving officers the visibility, communication, information, and accountability tools they rely on throughout a shift.

We’re proud to build for the Blaine Police Department and grateful for the work their officers do every day for the people they serve.

Built around the officer. Built for the community.

For officers, that can mean a laptop positioned where they can access critical information comfortably, controls and equipment placed within reach, and a cleaner workspace that helps them stay organized throughout the shift.

Different agencies. Different vehicles. Different requirements.
