Anyone have any leads on an AFR 2810 SBC manifold?
Will be a Dyno mule.

We not only evaluate the intake manifold before any work starts,
We evaluate the entire engine, cam and vehicle combination.
We want the engine and vehicle to accelerate.

Our long time friends at Lecompte Racing Engines sent us this Edelbrock 28002 to port.
After a few measurements, we decided that this manifold is " too big" for the combination.

Typically we would use epoxy to " shrink " the manifold.

This combination is a bracket race combo on methenol.
With the epoxy maintenance needed with methanol we decided to go with a different intake manifold.

We decided to go with a Profiler manifold.
After some welding we got started grinding.

It turned out super nice.

Just a side note, the Profiler is 10 lbs lighter than the Edelbrock.

Updates on the 436 AFR 227 build.
After a quick trip to Hanrahan Performance Products to pick up a new GZ motorsports it was back to Dynotune Engineering, LLC .
No other changes were made
The GZ VP 105 vacuum pump added 32 HP,
bringing the HP to 774 , with an average of 733 HP.

Another SBC creation by our long time friend John Perry on the dyno Dynotune Engineering, LLC yesterday .

436 Cubic inches
15.2 Compression
276/280 .800 lift
No vacuum pump
1 3/4 to 1 7/8 stepped header, 3.5" inch collector , 6" mufflers.

742 HP
615 TQ

AFR 227 Cylinder heads that we tuned up, paired with our dyno proven Edelbrock 2970 intake manifolds.
This one is using a Polymer Racing Products carb spacer.
The engine was dyno'd on gas but will be raced on methenol.
This is a rock solid reliable bracket racing combination.
