Welcome South Ridge Auto Enthusiasts! My name is Jeff Stafford, and have a healthy background in repair and restoration of automobiles. To date I have restored the following vehicles:
1964 Rambler station wagon
1967 Pontiac GTO
1968 Mercury Cougar XR7
1963 Mercury Meteor (in progress)
1964 Ford Fairlane
I do all my own work which includes engine rebuilding and repair, transmission rebuilding and repair, rear differential rebuild and repair, brake work, electrical work, interior work, and my latest venture…welding and sheetmetal body repair!
My background is a wheeled vehicle mechanic in the US Army for 3 years, an engine builder at a foreign car repair facility for 2 years, and a lifetime of personal auto repair.
This page is NOT just for old antique cars, but newer cars and motorcycles as well! Come here with your questions, your projects, requests for tool loans, repairs, etc. Post pictures, ask questions, and behave! No rules as of yet as I think we can probably police ourselves….but they can be created if necessary.
