Good morning all. Everyone is writing their race reports from the National GT Arena Motocross this weekend about their race team and racing effort.
Well, I want to give our race report. Our amazing staff that overcame challenges all weekend long with a 1-1 result and 50 championship points putting us clearly in first place as a staff!
The weekend started off with typical first race back challenges, but our team gelled and rose up to the challenge.
Top performers include:
Swingarm Media with all the great pics and social media content.
Nathaniel Viscioni with the YouTube live (arena motocross) on YouTube and social media content, lights and sound plus track crew clean up.
10 year veteran Michael Conner rocked the gate and competition directing.
Tracy Freeman and Ian Griffin got thrown a curve ball with the dirt but worked late Thursday night and somehow gave all of you a A plus track.
Julie Graybeal our office and travel manager and Tiffaney Kidd Stacye made the office go smooth like always! Plus our special office worker who is always there to help @ London Stjohn.
Shane Mcnabb is not new but he has a new position as track crew manager and finish line flagger. I call him steady eddy!! He just gets the job done with no drama. Solid addition to the team for sure!!
Our new flaggers and track crew guys performed so well. Mike, Sam and Logan picked up flagging, set up and tear down faster than anyone we have ever had in this position.
Jeff Campbell picked up staging amd had everyone flowing by Saturday really well. Everyone enjoyed his smile and fist using the kids as they came through for their race. Jeff is a Rookie in the team as well.
15 yr Announcer Doug Neff does so much more than just announcing. He helps our finish line flagger stay on point announcements, music, and the amazing intros.
Our scoring team including: Jim Wells, Julie and Kelly make everything go seemless. And is such a huge and technical job.
The 30 second card girls with AbbyandRyan Loganbill were a welcome additon and here to stay!
Merchandise sales: Kasey Taryn Reynolds and Jamie St John have the best customer service amd amazing smiles . Hope everyone liked the new designs. We have new hats and another design and hoodies coming too.
Track side support was on point with Tyler Smith and the Money Inc amd helped keep everyone in Hoosier Tire MX and bikes on the track.
Bryan Jackson and Tina Jackson overcoming a actual emergency Appendectomy surgery Thursday night to still come back and do opening ceremonies.
And last but not least is my amazing wife Liz Reynolds who cooks all the food and sends it with us for the staff to have home cooked meals on the road and watches all four kids so I can get away and make all this happen.
I can’t leave out the building staff at each of these events. The Stormont Vail Events Center staff is so accommodating to host us in their house each year!
Plus the Christian Motorcyclists Association help with additional security and banner tear down at the end of the night.
See everyone in Enid this is a new venue I think everyone is really going to like.
