🔧 WE’RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED DIESEL TECHNICIAN 🔧
Dewey’s Diesel & Tire | Claremont, NC
💰 $35–$40 PER HOUR
⏰ Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM
📍 Full-Time Position
We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Technician who knows their way around medium- and heavy-duty trucks and can diagnose and complete repairs independently.
Experience should include areas such as:
🔧 Engine diagnostics & repair
⚙️ Clutches & transmission R&R
💻 Electrical diagnostics
🚛 Fuel & emissions systems
🛑 Air brakes
🔩 Suspension, steering & king pins
⚙️ Drivelines & differentials
🛠️ Preventive maintenance & trailer repair
💻 Diagnostic software & scan tools
This is NOT an entry-level position.
At $35–$40/hour, we’re looking for someone who can be handed a truck with a problem, properly diagnose it, determine what it needs, and complete the repair without constant supervision.
ASE certifications are a plus, but experience and ability matter most.
We’re a locally operated shop looking for someone dependable, experienced, and interested in becoming a long-term part of our team.

This Cummins couldn't Dodge it, so it Rammed it! This customer is from out of town on business and the 6.7 Cummins in their 2018 Ram 3500 Cab and chassis dropped a valve seat.
