Another 6L80 COOKED getting ready for a rebuild!

Got this 1964 Buick in after another shop did a transmission service, which was honestly a disservice to this customer! Put a double o-ring on the filter and poor installation caused the seal to break apart and circulate through unit. This allowed air and transmission not getting full prime which lead to a burnt intermediate stack! We got her right with a single o-ring and filter extension to hold in place and sent her on her way!

It's the little things that we check to make sure that rebuild is solid! New front and rear stator bushings installed, new hardened rings on that forward drum, stack and spin to ensure no binding and it can spin freely with slight resistance!
