❄️ Snow Is Headed for Chillicothe — Drive Safe, Ross County ❄️

Winter weather is moving into Chillicothe and surrounding areas, and road conditions can change quickly. Please keep these safety tips in mind before heading out:

🚗 Safe Winter Driving Tips
• Slow down — snow and ice increase stopping distance
• Leave 6–8 seconds between vehicles
• Brake early and gently
• Avoid sudden turns or lane changes
• If you slide, steer into the skid
• Use headlights anytime visibility is reduced

🥶 Cold Weather Vehicle Prep
• Clear all snow and ice from your vehicle
• Check tires and tire pressure
• Use winter-rated washer fluid
• Keep at least half a tank of gas
• Carry a small emergency kit
