Young people are graduating here in Pleasant Ridge and starting their adventures! There’s a major legal shift that most families completely overlook: Once you turn 18, your parents can no longer automatically make medical decisions for you in an emergency. Many people assume family members can just step in if an accident happens, but legally, that isn't the case.

Linn Legal is hosting two free clinics to help young people from 18-22 get free Medical Powers of Attorney in place. We love our Pleasant Ridge community and want to make sure our young adults are set up for a safe, secure future. It's a useful document to have and it's not something that young people want to think about or pay for, so we are giving them away.

If you are a parent or loved one of a young person, please gently nudge them about this (or get their clearance to fill out the form for them!).

Vendor applications are open for Ridge Day 2026! Come join us in this family fun event and sell your wares.

Ridge Day 2026 will include a vendor market, live bands and entertainment, beer and drinks, food trucks, and activities for kids and families.
