It's Race Day. Final race of the August Buggy Series. Not a single position is a lock so it's all on the line tonight.

Racing starts at 7pm. Spectators welcome. As a special deal in honor of the RC Bash weekend, every racer can race one non points class as an additional class for free. Bring out the Mini-T's, SCT's and Groms.

8.24.26 Monday Night Oval

Another good night of oval with turnouts boosted by the upcoming Gorgon event. A group of racers decided to race the Gorgon's on the oval. We ended up with 25 entries and 15 drivers, 2 heats of NASCAR, and a heat each of Hackfab, 1RC and Gorgon.

The racers did a good job of keeping things rolling and we were able to get 3 rounds in and get the mains started just after 9pm. The Gorgons did amazingly well for a top heavy monster truck on the oval. Many of them were carrying the inside front halfway down the straight. The trucks were not meant for oval which made them that much more fun to drive. NASCAR was very close with the entire A main heat on 49-50 laps until round 3 when Greg and Tony and Nick upped it to 53, 52 and 51 respectively. The main turned out to be so close that they were all on the same lap on the final lap.

2026 Summer Buggy Series Race #3 - 8.21.26

This week was a light one as there were multiple conflicting races this weekend. We were down to 19 drivers making up 29 entries. Even with the lighter turnout, Mini 4wd and Mini-B Pro Stock both had B mains. Junior Buggy was full once again.

Because the turnout was light, we were able to run 3 rounds of qualifying and give those there a little bit more time on track. Racing went well, and everyone cooperated to keep the program moving. We finished the last main before 11pm. With many of the key players missing, tonight provided a points shake up that should make next week a little more exciting.

Points will be posted at the end of the race results.
