It's Tar Snake season! Tar drizzle gets soft and slippery in the Summer Sun, take care to avoid roads where they lie. If you find yourself rolling into them, stay relaxed and expect a little wiggling of the front or rear tires as you bank into them, be gentle allow for the temporary loss of traction and direction. They will hook up again when you cross to the clean pavement patches. Most importantly make sure your tires are pressured up and in good shape with the tread you need. Ride Safe! (KY 17 Grassy Creek to Falmouth and KY 159 near Lake Kincade is a snake pit!!!) ;-)

It's Spring! Time to drag your tired steed in for some much needed love and caring. Bring us your tired BATTERY, your poor BRAKES, your huddled masses of worn TIRES, your air FILTERS yearning to breathe free, your wretched steam rising from broken COOLANT systems in your teeming garage. Bring all these to me, I lift my wrench next to the golden side door, ready to re-vitalize and restore. ;-) (but seriously, it will warm up soonish, be ready!)
