Customer came in with a check engine light and code P2160. During diagnosis, we removed the sensor and found excessive metal shavings inside the transfer case, confirming internal failure.
A transfer case replacement was the only reliable repair. We installed the new unit, verified proper operation, and got the vehicle back on the road.
