Heads up!

Douglas Blvd. to close Feb. 15–17

S. Douglas Blvd. will be closed in both directions between SE 29th St. and Renny Rd. (see map) beginning Sunday, Feb. 15 at 6 a.m. The roadway is expected to reopen by midnight Feb. 17 (early Tuesday morning).

The temporary closure will begin early Sunday and could extend through late Monday night (Presidents Day).

I-40 eastbound and westbound on-ramps and off-ramps at S. Douglas Blvd. will also be closed during this time.

Access Information:

SSM Health St. Anthony Healthplex will be accessible from the south only via Douglas Blvd.

44th Avenue remains closed for a separate project. Drivers should use I-240 or 59th St. to access Douglas Blvd. south of I-40.

The project includes removing temporary asphalt pavement and installing the permanent top asphalt lift on S. Douglas Blvd.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes.
