🎉 The Creekside Grill food bus is officially open at Cotton Patch Landing! The serving window kicked off Memorial Day weekend and will be rolling Friday through Sunday all the way through Labor Day — and the 2026 menu is better than ever. 🍔🦐

We're talking the Patch Burger (two smash patties, American cheese, all the fixings), a Shrimp Po-Boy with seasoned grilled shrimp and chipotle sauce, the classic Bright Leaf Carolina Red Dog, breakfast burritos, hashbrown bowls, corn fritters dusted with powdered sugar, and a full kids' menu. Hours are Fridays 12–6pm, Saturdays 10am–6pm, and Sundays 10am–3pm.

And if you're an angler, late May on Blount's Creek is prime time — speckled trout, puppy drum, and flounder are all active right now. Grab live shrimp from the bait shop, hit the water at sunrise, and be back at the dock in time for a Patch Burger and fries. 🎣

Hi, guys! Meet “Dashperado”

His name is Eric. He is biking through all 13 original colonies…exactly 50 years after he first completed the journey in 1976 at just 20 years old. This incredible ride is in honor of America’s 250th birthday, and we were honored to have him stop by our campground to rest up before another day on the road.🇺🇸🚴‍♂️

What an amazing story of determination, adventure, and celebrating America’s history. Let’s give Eric a huge round of applause for taking on this journey once again! 👏
