440 Chrysler stroked to 505 ci. We machined it my friends assembled it. 10:1 compression, 440 source heads, 243/247-.640 lift 108 ls hydraulic roller cam, performer rpm intake and 870 carb. 560 hp @ 5500 and 590 trq @ 4400 on pump gas. Mopar stump puller!

Today’s pain in the ass. With hours of cutting, grinding and fitting I finally got the intake and exhaust on. Stock 300-6 with a RV cam and 450 Brawler carb, not on the engine yet. Pretty cool though.

A customer brought in this 390 to dyno today. Edelbrock heads, Performer rpm intake, small hydraulic flat tappet cam with 16” of vacuum and a 750 carb on pump gas. 400 hp @ 5800 and 435 trq @ 4000 rpm.

Throwback Thursday. 289 Ford on pump gas with ported dart pro 1 heads and a solid roller cam making 500 hp at 7200 rpm.

F-d up Friday. When you order new head bolts for a LS engine and the pitch just isn’t quite right and go in about 3 threads. Next stop garbage pail. I have seen this on a few different brands.

F-d up Friday. I’ve been doing this for almost 40 years and have never seen this. I’m sure there’s a good reason. Why does the valve have a big notch cut in it where the valve guide goes?
