This weekend was definitely amongst some of the more challenging ones I’ve had over the past couple years.

Coming into the weekend I had high hopes one of my favorite tracks would deliver great racing. After a successful test day I was really looking forward to it, however, once the official weekend started I struggled to put together a qualifying lap. Starting 4th for race one, I lost a few positions on the start that I spent the rest of the race trying to gain back. I had a great start in race 2, but immediately lost a serpentine belt ending my racing and costing me a starting spot for race 3. Eager to make up positions I overdrove into turn one and caused unwanted contact resulting in a penalty for myself and a back of the field start for race 4. I did manage to pull together some better driving in the last race going from 10th to 4th but unfortunately the weekend already was wrapped up.

A lot to reflect on from this event. Just a few weeks to go over the car and load back up for GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends
