We are looking to expand our team with a position available for mechanical/technical services.
Job Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled, customer-focused Aftermarket Automotive Technician to install, diagnose, and service aftermarket parts and performance enhancements. If you take pride in doing quality work, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced shop, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do:
Install and service aftermarket parts (lift kits, lowering springs, wheels and tires, exhaust systems, braking components, suspension upgrades, lighting, audio/video systems, ECU/programming, intake systems, and performance components).
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability issues using factory scan tools and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.
Road-test vehicles to verify performance, fitment, and safety after installations.
Communicate clearly with customers about work performed, timelines, and any additional recommendations.
Maintain accurate service records, estimates, and warranty information.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; manage hand tools and shop equipment.
Collaborate with parts/sales team to source correct parts and propose approved upgrades.
Adhere to safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and warranty/return policies.
Stay current with new products, installation techniques, and basic tuning concepts.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience, with a strong background in installing aftermarket parts.
Experience with electrical systems and basic wiring; comfort using diagnostic tools and manuals/schematics.
ASE certification is preferred; if not certified, willingness to pursue certification with company support.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform physically demanding tasks, and work in a shop environment.
Own set of basic hand tools; willingness to build a larger toolset as needed (shop provides specialty tools).
Preferred but Not Required:
Experience with ECU tuning, reflashing, or programming.
Certification in lifts, electrical systems, or advanced diagnostic methods.
Familiarity with tire/wheel mounting and balancing equipment.

Full-time position; Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
