✋ Got plans to play on the boat this weekend? Please remember to stay safe and keep the following tips in mind:

1. If you're chartering a boat, remember to ask your captain for proof of USCG licensure and Chicago Harbors permits. The USCG is strictly enforcing on illegal charters.

2. Please operate within your vessel's registered capacity limits and ensure that you have enough PFDs for all persons onboard.

3. Alcohol and boating don't mix! Please do not drink if you plan to drive. Operate with a designated driver onboard.

4. Anchor your vessel safely. This means giving enough clearance to other boats as well as ensuring you have enough scope to hold your vessel securely. Please refer to this link for more information: https://www.discoverboating.com/resources/how-to-anchor-a-boat

Happy new year to all! We're so excited to be moving into 2022. Thank you to all our fantastic clients that have supported us through these past couple years. We are still here and able to continue sharing our awesome city thanks to all of you. Your support has meant everything to us as a small business and we truly value the relationships we have built through the years. We are looking forward to a great summer and can't wait to see everyone out on the lake!

It's finally here - the end of 2020! It's been an extremely tough year all around and we're looking forward to a much better 2021. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Thank you again to all our amazing clients and friends and we look forward to seeing everyone out on the water this summer. As we say goodbye (at last) to 2020 we wish you all the best for the upcoming year.

As our season ends we’d like to once again thank all our fantastic clients and friends for another season. It’s been a rough 2020 all around, and we hope to see you all again next year in 2021. We value each and every one of our clients and appreciate your continued business and support. As it is, we are also reaching out to everyone to ask for your support in another way. We have, sadly, been hugely impacted by the restrictions and shutdowns through the past several months. In order to continue operating and keep our summer traditions alive, we have started a GoFundMe campaign to help keep the SunSea going. We’re back! So excited to be back in the harbor and cruising again! What an amazingly perfect weekend to kick off our season.

FINALLY some good news!! Chicago just announced today the harbors will open at last as of June 22. We’ll still have some restrictions to irk ugh but are so excited to be now to resume charters! We look forward to getting back in the lake and are so excited to get the season going after months of waiting for boating season. See you on the water!!
