1987 Ford Mustang LX was modified in 1994 with the JBA Dominator GTB package, which included a Vortech V1 supercharger, a revised exhaust system, a fiberglass wide-body kit, a roll bar, a rear disc brake-conversion kit, Recaro racing seats, 17×11″ Monocoque wheels, subframe connectors, and an Auburn limited-slip differential with 3.55:1 gearing. The seller acquired the car on BaT in September 2023, and work consisted of modifying the 302ci V8 to displace 331ci via a stroker kit and installing a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission, a billet flywheel, a Cobra brake booster, a Vortech Aftercooler, a Lunati camshaft, BBK-long-tube exhaust headers, and a Trick Flow intake manifold and cylinder heads. Air conditioning was re-installed in 2024, and the alternator, starter, oil pan gasket, crank pulley, timing cover, harmonic damper, and valve covers were also replaced in 2024. This Dominator GTB is now offered with a Marti Report, service records, informational literature, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The JBA fiberglass ten-piece wide-body kit was installed by J. Bittle Performance in San Diego, California, in 1994 and the car was painted white at that time. The car is equipped with a sunroof and the weather stripping was replaced in 2019. Paint imperfections and scratches are noted in addition to hail damage on the hood and roof. The Mustang hatch and tall rear wing were installed in 2023.

Gray-finished 17×11″ Monocoque three-piece wheels are mounted with 315/35 Nitto NT05 tires. An AJE tubular K-member and control arms, a Ford Motorsports five-lug four-wheel disc conversion, and a coilover suspension system are installed in addition to a Maximum Motorsports panhard bar and lower control arms. Work under current ownership consisted of installing a Cobra brake booster and replacing the master cylinder and steering shaft. Additional modifications include:

The cabin features black Recaro SRD seats with Crow Enterprizes five-point harnesses, and the rear bench has been removed. An AutoPower four-point roll bar has been installed, and the car is equipped with a Maximum Motorsports clutch pedal height adjuster and a roll bar-mounted fire extinguisher. Air conditioning has been re-installed in the vehicle under current ownership.
A plaque affixed to the dashboard indicates that this car has been modified with the Dominator GTB package.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. AutoMeter readouts for oil pressure, water temperature, and boost pressure have been installed in the air vents using a JBA gauge cage. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in an August 1993 entry as well as a potential odometer rollover in an April 2020 entry.
The 5.0-liter V8 was modified to displace 331ci via a stroker kit under current ownership and additional work included installing flat top pistons, a Vortech Maxflow Power Cooler, a Lunati camshaft, a revised mass air flow sensor and tuning chip, 1.6 roller rockers, 60-lb fuel injectors, BBK-long-tube exhaust headers, and a Trick Flow intake manifold and cylinder heads. The alternator, starter, oil pan gasket, crank pulley, timing cover, harmonic damper, and valve covers were also replaced in 2024. Additional modifications include:

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission, a McLeod Super Street clutch, an Auburn limited-slip differential, an aluminum driveshaft, and 3.55:1 gearing. Borla Pro mufflers with a BBK 2.5″ H-pipe and JBA exhaust pipes have been installed and modified to clear the panhard bar. Work in 2024 included installing the Tremec transmission, billet flywheel, clutch cable, and firewall adjuster.
