PONTOON BOATS!!

I have never been an avid fan of PONTOON BOATS!!

My total distaste for the PONTOON CONCEPT has been unwavering consistent. A PONTOON BOAT looks totally and completely out of place in the water!! PERIOD!!

But tastes change! And so has mine! I can remember the days when a PONTOON boat was completely open, the Captain had his special chair, everyone else had to grab a lawn chair and if there was a table to be had, one would come aboard!!

Times change! And times change for the better! The evolution of the PONTOON BOAT has been nothing short of miracles!

I would even consider purchasing a PONTOON BOAT now!!

VIEWS OF BELMONT HARBOR!

I recently posted pictures of Montrose Harbor and as both are awesome marinas, Belmont Harbor just has that COOLNESS FACTOR going for it!

COOL YACHT CLUB! Archery Range! Awesome views of Downtown Chicago!

And two very cool boats: A Chris Craft named "Elizabeth K" and another boat named "In Recess!"

And a great area for dogs to run and swim!!

All in all a great walk in and around the harbor!!

VIEWS FROM MONTROSE HARBOR!!

I spent some time walking around Montrose Harbor and discovered not only some very cool boats but also found out there is a bird sanctuary, an awesome hot dog stand, fishing supply store and some pretty awesome views looking back on downtown Chicago and the lake!!
