Level 35 Lake Mich Class Association J35.T35.Sch35 Sailboat owners class association for more competitive racing between J35s, Thomas 35s and Schock 35s in Southern Lake Michigan.

Level 35 Class Association is a group of J35, Thomas 35 and Schock 35 owners racing their boats in southern Lake Michigan as a "Level Class". We chose to join our racing efforts and handicaps in an effort to minimize the imperfections embedded in the PHRF and ORR handicapping systems. Our boat characteristics, measurements and base handicaps make this a reasoned accommodation to avoid the lack of competitive-accurate handicaps offer be PHRF and ORR.

2021 Chicago Mac race is on. With the change to ORC rule, status of the old Level 35 section may be unclear. I have not yet seen our group's ORCs yet. Chicago Mac 2019, Awesome event. After 2 1/2 days of racing, entire section almost finished like a buoy race. Each of the three class models finished in the 3 positions. Level racing in Mac is where it is at. See you there next year?

For the first time Mac racers, I am happy to give skippers and crew some boat prep, meal prep and crew procedure ideas. This year will be my 28th race.

2019 Mac race is July 13. Leaves from Chicago, IL. Great departure view from Navy Pier. Most boat get to the Island on Monday, eat, drink and party and depart on Wednesday for their home ports, Awesome event. Miles

After a 1-year break, it looks like the Level 35 Group will have a section in the 111th race to Mackinac. J35, Sch35s and Thomas 35 are welcome to join in. We think we have 7 already committed. We need one or 2 more. Miles D. Free Agent, SCH35
