The trunk lid paint job turns out good but I found some pin holes after painting. So I filled it with glazing & spot putty and sprayed a couple of light dry base coats to cover it. Clear-coat applied and here's the final! Boy, what an achievement. I love it!!! You can see a list of products I've used in this project at the bottom.

After a lot of sanding, Bondo filling, and long wait time, the 1st few shades of Indian Red base coat turn out pretty good! Today will have more fine sanding and get it clear coated.
While I was waiting for the paint to dry, I discovered these Victory Cross Country guards, with mods may fit our Indian baggers. I'm excited to have an interesting project to pursue. I need these bag guards to protect the bags cuz' I had dropped my bikesssss for stupid reasons.

Picked up this beauty 2 weeks ago. Previous owner had dropped the bike and left deep scratches on the fairing (upper edge by the light) and trunk. Body shops ask about $3k. I have 0 clue on auto body repair but dare to try.
Watched tons of YouTube for guidance and I'm confident I can restore this baby. I've sanded, Bondoed, sanded again, and I'm ready to prime and spray paint.
