Fun Fact Friday đ
Volvo didnât just build safe cars. They helped change car safety altogether.
The modern three-point seat belt was designed by Volvo engineer Nils Bohlin in 1959. It first showed up in the Volvo PV544 and quickly became the standard we all use today.
And hereâs the part that matters most. Volvo made the design available so other manufacturers could use it too.
Itâs estimated that seat belts have saved well over a million lives since then.
If you drive a Volvo, safety isnât just a feature. Itâs part of the history.
