Big fan of the STI!

This rental from Omoshiro wasn’t stock which made it even more fun to whip around Tokyo and Fuji. I was a little intimidated at first but I can chalk that up to how different the clutch and throttle response was compared to the viper. I had it figured out after a few kilometers.

Winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This was the first Japanese manufacturer to take overall victory and the only rotary-powered car to do it.

Powered by the naturally aspirated R26B 4-rotor (~700 hp), built for reliability and sustained high RPMs over 24 hours. More importantly the best sounding car of all time.

Car #55 finished without major mechanical issues.

The end of an era. I bought my 1999 Lexus GS400 in the summer of 2011. It’s been all over the country and has been one of the most reliable vehicles I could’ve asked for. After 27 years and 177k miles this beauty is on to the next owner. Sad to see it go!
