Update: The swelling has gone down in his face, he still can't really open his right eye but he's looking a lot better. He goes for a CT scan tomorrow morning and fingers crossed if it looks good, he'll get to come HOME 😭

Minor update - Tanner is going to be in the hospital anywhere from 5 to 7 days depending on if neurology is going to do surgery for his forehead fracture. He's having minor spinal fluid leaking out of his right nostril, they're going to monitor it and if it becomes more frequent then they'll do surgery otherwise they want to wait until the swelling goes down. His swelling is worse today which is to be expected, his body is starting to feel the impact from the crash as well. I'll try to keep more updates as they come.
Tanner says "you should see the other guy 🤣" so he still has his sense of humor!

They're keeping Tanner overnight for monitoring and doing another CT scan on him in the morning. He has a small laceration on his liver, his forehead is sutured shut from more than likely hitting the windshield, his nose is broken, and he's fractured the majority of the right side of his face, he will more than likely need surgery to fix the fractures but they want to wait until his swelling is down. He currently can't see out of his right eye because it's swollen completely shut (thankfully it still works though).
I'll try to keep updating as I know more.

This is Christina, Tanner's wife. He was involved in a motorcycle accident late last night/early this morning. He was transferred from Bloomington to Champaign for his wounds. He has a laceration on his liver and severe facial damage. We're not sure how long he'll be in the hospital or if he needs surgery at this time. Please bare with us through this and we'll try to respond as best we can.
