We would like to take a few minutes to talk about this upcoming Memorial Day weekend and what it is truly about.
It has evolved into a fun 3 Day weekend that kicks off the Summer vacation, boating and BBQ season. While it is indeed all of those things, more importantly it is also a solemn holiday that is intended for remembrance. Remembrance of the military men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. It is our hope that during this extended weekend of boating, barbecues and whatever else...that we all might take some time to honor those fallen military persons and contemplate just exactly what Memorial Day is about.
