What if a 99-year-old car still ran like it just left the factory?

A special one from the collection: our 1927 Stutz Double A Sedan, originally owned by J.B. Nethercutt.

Purchased through Hagerty Marketplace after decades in storage at the Nethercutt Collection.

38,000 original miles. Original paint. Original interior. Even the original safety glass.

We tracked down missing pieces (hood latches, emblem, radiator shell, ornament) at Hershey, rebuilt the carb and brakes, and threw on fresh whitewalls.

Now it runs like a scalded dog, exactly how a proper Stutz should.

Huge thanks to Cameron Richards at the Nethercutt Collection and Donnie Gould at Hagerty Marketplace for helping this beauty find its next home.

Theresa and I look forward to this one all year the Benedict Castle Concours never disappoints.

Folks, if you've never been, it's everything I love about this hobby in one place. Concours-level restorations, hot rods, muscle, exotics, customs, and the best people in the car world to go with them.

I spent half the day just swapping stories.

But here's what really gets me. Every dollar from this show goes to Teen Challenge, helping hundreds of folks break free from addiction.

We get to enjoy the cars we love and change lives doing it. Doesn't get much better than that.

See y'all at the Castle next year.
