If your A/C blows cold for ten minutes and then warms up, that's not "just needs a recharge." Nine times out of ten it's a leak somewhere in the system, and dumping more refrigerant in is like topping off a bucket with a hole in the bottom. We can find the actual leak with dye and UV light in about an hour. Then we fix the leak, not the symptom.
