The 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28! carried the fierce muscle car attitude of the late ’60s into a sleeker, more refined second-generation design. With its low, wide stance, split front bumper, and sculpted body lines, the ’71 Z/28 looked aggressive from every angle — a true street fighter with race-bred DNA. Chevrolet refined the Camaro’s aerodynamics and handling, giving the Z/28 a more balanced and road-hugging feel than ever before.
Under the hood, the 350-cubic-inch LT-1 V8 engine roared to life, delivering 330 horsepower and crisp throttle response thanks to its high-lift cam and 11:1 compression ratio. Mated to a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission and Positraction rear end, the Z/28 delivered pure driving excitement with lightning-quick acceleration and tight cornering.
Inside, the cockpit featured sporty bucket seats, a deep-dish steering wheel, and round performance gauges — every detail aimed at the serious driver. The 1971 model faced new emissions standards, slightly reducing output, but it never lost its muscle-bound soul.
Today, the 1971 Camaro Z/28 stands as a symbol of raw American power and style — the perfect fusion of muscle and precision, loved by collectors and performance purists alike.

Chevy 632 big-block engine represents the peak of GM’s crate-engine engineering, delivering raw, naturally aspirated power on a scale rarely seen in a production-based platform. With a massive 632 cubic inches of displacement, it relies on an oversized bore and long-stroke combination that maximizes airflow and cylinder pressure without the need for forced induction. Built on a reinforced tall-deck block with thick cylinder walls and priority-main oiling, the 632 is designed to withstand extreme loads while maintaining stability at high RPM. Its construction reflects GM’s intention to create an engine that pushes the limits of street-legal performance.

Internally, the 632 uses a forged rotating assembly engineered for strength and reliability under severe conditions. A 4.600-inch bore and 4.750-inch stroke are paired with lightweight forged pistons and heavy-duty connecting rods to handle the tremendous cylinder forces generated in each combustion cycle. High-flow aluminum cylinder heads with CNC-machined intake and exhaust ports allow a massive amount of air to enter and exit the engine, supporting the huge displacement. The valvetrain is built around an aggressive hydraulic-roller camshaft profile that provides both high lift and durability for extended high-load operation.

Fuel and air delivery on the 632 is optimized through a high-volume manifold and a multi-point electronic fuel injection system tuned specifically for large-displacement, high-RPM breathing. The engine produces over 1,000 horsepower in its most extreme configurations, while the factory-rated street version still delivers astonishing power on pump gas. Its torque output is equally impressive, with a broad curve that provides explosive acceleration even at lower RPM. The combination of airflow efficiency, displacement, and robust construction enables the 632 to deliver big-power performance without relying on superchargers or turbos.

The Chevy 632 big-block has become a favorite among builders of drag cars, Pro Street machines, and high-performance muscle car restomods. Its ability to produce four-digit horsepower while maintaining street-friendly manners sets it apart from most naturally aspirated engines of comparable size. Beyond the numbers, the 632 carries on the legacy of Chevrolet’s big-block heritage, offering unmatched sound, presence, and brute-force performance. For enthusiasts seeking the ultimate expression of American large-displacement V8 power, the 632 stands as a modern icon.
