What are we looking for under the hood? 👀

When our technicians check motor mounts, one thing they look at is how much the engine moves. Some movement is normal, but on this vehicle, our technician confirmed the mounts need replacement.

Motor mounts help support the engine and control movement and vibration—a big job for a part you might never think about!

Feeling a new vibration or hearing a clunk? Schedule a visit with Compton’s Automotive so we can find out what’s causing it.

Cooper takes his role as the shop’s official treat inspector very seriously. 🐾🎃 All snacks must pass his inspection… preferably straight into his mouth. 😂🦴

Happy Halloween from Cooper and the Compton’s Automotive crew! We hope everyone has a fun-filled day with plenty of treats! Stay safe and keep an eye out for little trick-or-treaters tonight! 👻🧡

Tech Talk: What is Stop Leak? And is there ever a situation that you would recommend using it? 🛑🛑🛑

“It is ALLEGEDLY to help some sort of fluid to stop leaking.” 🔧

On this Tech Talk, we’re asking Jonathan about stop leak products—and whether he’d ever recommend using one. His answer? A very reluctant “maybe” in an emergency, but his advice is to steer clear and get the actual leak repaired. 🔧

What’s that scan tool actually doing? Watch the gauges. 👀⛽

This customer was concerned their fuel gauge wasn’t working correctly. Here, we’re using our scan tool to perform a gauge sweep—commanding the gauges to move so we can check their response.

The sweep alone doesn’t tell us whether the fuel level reading is accurate, but it gives our technician another piece of the puzzle. 🔧

Making a difference starts with people who bring a community together. 💛

This , we’re giving a special shoutout to Classroom Central, Put Tools in Schools, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control for the work they do—and for welcoming us to lend a hand.

Behind every drive, clinic, and volunteer opportunity are people putting in the planning, time, and heart to make it happen. We’re thankful for the organizers, staff, and volunteers whose efforts allow teams like ours to show up and help.
