That’s because the factory transmission cooler relies on the factory cooling system to maintain the transmission temps alongside the engine. Not anymore. You bought that “performance” radiator because you wanted something better than stock. You shouldn’t have to replace it because the “upgrade” started leaking. Fluidynes diesel radiators are built around a one piece dye extruded tube design with added his structural rigidity and no welded tube seam. Which means no leaks. Your Diesel pickup deserves better.

Maybe you’re still the first owner. Maybe you’re the sixth. That old 24 Valve still wants to work. You could replace your tired worn out radiator with an equivalent from the local parts house- or find a “performance” one online. But they both have the same thing in common: the way they’re made. When you form a tube from a flat piece of aluminum, it’s bound to leak. That’s why we borrowed a page from our NASCAR designs- using tube extrusion. Seamless tubes are formed for all of our diesel radiators- so you get leak free performance year after year.
